We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural background and extensive BIM coordination experience across multidisciplinary projects.
The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and supervising BIM processes across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership in coordination workflows, and ensuring compliance with project and company BIM standards.
Responsibilities Lead BIM coordination activities across all disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP). Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct clash detection using Navisworks or similar software and manage resolution workflows. Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company standards. Monitor model quality, accuracy, and data integrity. Provide technical BIM support and guidance to internal teams. Review and validate models submitted by external consultants and subcontractors. Prepare BIM reports, model progress updates, and coordination documentation. Support project delivery teams in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Minimum 7 years of hands-on BIM experience. Strong experience in BIM coordination for large-scale projects. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM tools. Solid knowledge of international BIM standards and Qatar construction practices. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
