Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily and scheduled inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure compliance with CISRS/NOC standards and project specifications.


  • Enforce offshore HSE requirements, including permit-to-work systems, confined space entry, and working-at-heights protocols.


  • Implement and maintain scaffold tagging (green/amber/red) to indicate scaffold status and safety.


  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain scaffold registers, and submit NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.


  • Liaise with scaffold foremen, supervisors, and multi-discipline teams to ensure safe access solutions.


  • Confirm scaffold load ratings and suitability for intended work activities.


  • Provide toolbox talks and guidance to scaffolders on safe erection, modification, and dismantling practices.


  • Support emergency response drills and ensure scaffold safety during adverse weather or evacuation scenarios.


  • Verify scaffold materials, fittings, and erection methods against approved standards.


  • Recommend improvements in scaffold design and safety practices to enhance offshore operations.



RequirementsQualifications
  • Diploma / Technical Certificate in Engineering or relevant trade.


  • CISRS / TUV / equivalent Scaffolding Inspector certification.


  • Minimum 5–7 years offshore scaffolding experience, including inspection roles.

BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)


Basic H2S Training

Rescue at Height Training
