Roles & Responsibilities

About the position

As a Jira Administrator, you will join the Infrastructure team to own and continuously improve Jira across the QIC digital hub. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to design scalable workflows, automate processes, and ensure Jira accurately reflects the way our teams build and deliver products.

Responsibilities

  • Own Jira configuration across product and support projects
  • Configure and maintain workflows, issue types, screens, fields, and project settings
  • Manage Jira automations, including task creation, assignments, notifications, and integrations
  • Maintain process documentation in Confluence and keep it aligned with Jira configuration
  • Support new teams and projects during onboarding to the existing Jira framework
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to improve processes and resolve configuration requests
  • Identify process gaps and continuously optimize Jira workflows and governance

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on Jira Cloud administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of workflows, automation, permission schemes, notification schemes, and issue type schemes
  • Ability to understand existing Jira configurations and independently implement improvements
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Familiarity with Confluence and process documentation
  • Basic understanding of Agile software development, including sprints, releases, and QA workflows
  • English level B1 or higher

Nice to have: experience with Jira Assets, Advanced Roadmaps, API-based integrations (e.g. GitLab)

Desired Candidate Profile
