Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support engineering, design, construction, and startup activities across capital projects within the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry, ensuring safe, efficient, and successful project execution. This is a full-time position based in Qatar.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage)

• 5–7 years of project engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry

• Experience supporting FEED, Detailed Design, Construction, and Startup phases of capital projects

• Familiarity with process engineering, plant design, and project execution methodologies

• Exposure to petrochemical projects is highly preferred

• Proficient in English; working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

  
  

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Expertise in reviewing process engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, and process design documentation

• Experience participating in HAZOP, MOC, PSSR, and process safety evaluations

• Capable of supporting process control systems, interlocks, shutdown logic, and DCS design reviews

• Adept at coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and technical consultants

• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and industrial safety standards throughout project execution

• Effective planning, technical problem-solving, and project coordination capabilities

• Ability to prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and project recommendations accurately
