Job Title: Pavement Engineer
Location: Qatar Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pavement Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, inspection, evaluation, design, and maintenance of pavement assets to ensure safe and efficient road infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct pavement condition assessments and inspections.* Analyze pavement performance data and recommend maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.* Prepare pavement designs, technical reports, and engineering recommendations.* Review and monitor pavement construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation works.* Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements.* Ensure adherence to relevant standards, specifications, and safety regulations.* Perform quality control and quality assurance inspections related to pavement works.* Utilize pavement management systems and engineering software for analysis and reporting.* Assist in preparing project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.* Minimum 5–10 years of experience in pavement engineering, road maintenance, or highway projects.* Strong knowledge of pavement materials, pavement design, and rehabilitation techniques.* Experience in road operation and maintenance projects is an advantage.* Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.* Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.* MMUP/UPDA certification is mandatory.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with pavement condition surveys and pavement management systems.* Knowledge of international road and highway standards.* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
