• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization to completion
• Manage site staff including construction supervisors, foremen, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure all work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Monitor project progress against schedule and report to Project Manager
• Manage site resources including manpower, equipment, and materials for optimal efficiency
• Enforce strict HSE compliance and ensure site safety protocols are followed
• Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors for daily operations
• Review and approve daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Identify and resolve site issues including technical problems, delays, or conflicts
• Conduct regular site meetings and toolbox talks with construction teams
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and standards
• Manage site logistics including material deliveries, storage, and equipment movement
• Prepare and submit site daily reports, manpower summaries, and work completion records
• Assist in contract administration including variation orders and claims
• Liaise with procurement and logistics for timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Ensure all legal, safety, and environmental regulations are met on site
• Direct, motivate, and mentor site staff to achieve project goals
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of construction management experience in marine, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, equipment, and safety standards
• Experience with marine or offshore construction is highly preferred
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, BS, ASTM, ACI)
• Valid safety certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred.
