Job Purpose
To drive sales growth of Boom Breakers and related attachments, provide technical service support, develop and manage dealer networks, and ensure high customer satisfaction in mining, quarry, construction, cement, and infrastructure sectors. The role combines technical expertise, sales execution, aftermarket support, and related dealer development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Boom Breakers and attachments.
- Identify new business opportunities in mining, quarrying, tunnelling, cement, steel, and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct customer visits, equipment inspections, and application studies.
- Generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and negotiate orders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and support field trials.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Boom Breaker business focused on both direct sales and dealer network expansion across mining and construction markets.
2. Dealer Development & Channel Management
- Supporting Manager in Identify, appoint, and develop dealers/sub-dealers in assigned territories.
- Ensure dealer coverage in key mining and construction markets.
- Train dealer sales and service personnel on products, applications, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor dealer performance, inventory, sales targets, and customer service standards.
- Support dealers in lead generation, customer visits, demonstrations, and order conversion.
- Conduct periodic dealer reviews and implement improvement plans.
3. Service & Technical Support
- Provide installation, commissioning, and operational training at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, and structural issues.
- Coordinate warranty claims and technical support activities.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend spare parts.
- Ensure timely closure of service complaints and maintain service records.
- Work closely with customers to maximize equipment uptime.
4. Aftermarket & Spare Parts Business
- Promote spare parts, service contracts, rebuild programs, and annual maintenance agreements.
- Identify rebuild and refurbishment opportunities within the installed base.
- Drive aftermarket revenue through customer retention programs.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
5. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with mine owners, contractors, quarry operators, OEMs, and project customers.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and regular follow-ups.
- Support key account development and long-term business partnerships.

- Sales revenue and order intake.
- Dealer appointments and dealer performance.
- Market share growth.
- Spare parts and service sales.
- Warranty claim closure time.
- Customer satisfaction score.
- Lead-to-order conversion ratio.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field.
- 7-8 years of experience in Boom Breakers, Hydraulic Breakers, Mining Equipment, Construction Equipment, or Excavator Attachments.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and mining applications.
- Experience in dealer network development and channel sales preferred.
