Primary Purpose of the Job
The Principal Process Engineer is responsible and accountable for managing, in an autonomously manner, the Process Engineering activities during the Development Project Study (Concept select, Pre-FEED) phases: Design review of work carried out by Contractors or managed in-house, mapping of surface constraints across offshore and onshore processing facilities and production impact assessment of debottlenecking opportunities.
As a Principal Process Engineer, he is expected to perform process simulation works, as well as liaise with peers, discipline leads or contributors from other entities in a transverse type of organization of the Development project. On this, he is expected to review, challenge contributions, and actively promote innovative approaches.
br /> Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 15 years O&G industry experience.
br /> Experienced in conceptual engineering within early stages of the Development Projects studies (SELECT, Pre-FEED).
br /> Well versed in process simulations, equipment sizing, PFD/PEFS, steady and transient flow analysis, Control narratives and Cause Effect, etc.
br /> Recognized expertise and leadership in Process Engineering.
br /> Leadership and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical discipline in transverse organizational schemes.
br /> Working knowledge of company business processes regulatory requirements, with however track record of deviation processes.
br /> Educational Qualifications
Degree in Chemical, Process or Petroleum Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
