We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Housekeeping Training Assistant Manager.

As a Housekeeping Training Assistant Manager at Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, you will play a key role in upholding the exceptional standards of luxury, service excellence, and attention to detail that define both brands. You will be responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of housekeeping training programs, ensuring colleagues are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create memorable guest experiences.

Serving as a champion of operational excellence and colleague development, you will work closely with the Housekeeping leadership team to foster a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, and engagement. Through effective coaching, training coordination, and quality assurance, you will contribute to maintaining the impeccable presentation, comfort, and personalized service that guests expect from Raffles and Fairmont.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of housekeeping training programs in line with the luxury service standards of Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha.
  • Assist in onboarding and training housekeeping colleagues, ensuring a strong understanding of brand standards, operational procedures, and guest service excellence.
  • Conduct on-the-job training, coaching sessions, and performance follow-ups to support continuous colleague development and operational consistency.
  • Monitor housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and service quality consistently meet the expectations of both brands.
  • Collaborate closely with Housekeeping leadership to identify training needs and implement development initiatives that enhance team performance and engagement.
  • Ensure all housekeeping colleagues maintain proper knowledge of guest room standards, public areas, health & safety procedures, and luxury service protocols.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives through regular inspections, audits, and feedback sessions to maintain exceptional operational standards.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the Housekeeping department.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate training records, attendance documentation, and departmental reports in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle colleague inquiries and operational concerns with professionalism, discretion, and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, brand standards, hygiene regulations, and health & safety requirements.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and engaging work environment while upholding the elegance, warmth, and service excellence synonymous with Raffles & Fairmont Doha.

Desired Candidate Profile

What will you bring to this role?

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping operations, training, or supervisory roles within a luxury hotel environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, luxury service standards, cleaning practices, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills with a passion for colleague development and service excellence.
  • Ability to deliver training sessions confidently while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to maintain operational consistency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment and build effective working relationships across departments.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, hygiene, and brand compliance standards within Housekeeping operations.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
