The CEO shall lead the strategic business development of the Company in agreement with the Board of Directors. The CEO manages the day-to-day operations of the Company in accordance with the specific powers delegated to him by the Board of Directors and Shareholders.
The CEO shall build an inspirational company culture, provide motivating leadership to the executive team, and establish a positive working relationship with Board Members and Employees.
Responsibilities: Strategic (Describes long-term tasks to deliver organizational expectations) Develops high-quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short and long-term objectives. Oversees all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. Makes high-quality investment decisions to advance the business and increase profits. Enforces adherence to legal guidelines and Company policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics. Evaluates and advises on the impact of medium to long-term planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
Tactical (Refers to specific tasks or actions to be undertaken to accomplish a strategy) Reviews financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements. Analyzes problematic situations and occurrences and provides solutions to ensure company survival and growth. Maintains a sound knowledge of relevant markets and industry of the company. Implements and enforces policies and procedures of the Company through systems that improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization. Ensures that programs deliver on time, in full, to budget, to quality standards, to customers’ expectations, and with the most effective use of the Company's resources. Evaluates business challenges and takes action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities. Oversees the development of company targets and objectives that support the business and its operations, taking into consideration economic conditions and other relevant factors. Oversees all financial issues in cooperation with the Finance Director, including reporting and monitoring of company performance metrics.
People (Outlines duties that promote workplace harmony, productivity, and professional growth) Builds trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and acts as a point of contact for important shareholders. Leads and motivates subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team. Maintains a positive and ethical work climate that is conducive to attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels. Fosters a culture that promotes ethical practices and encourages individual integrity, as set out in greater detail in the organization’s Code of Business Conduct. Establishes and maintains a sound organizational structure that supports business growth, with satisfactory definitions of roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth executive coordination and personnel relations at all levels of the organization.
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality The CEO ensures compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality management policies, procedures, and controls across the organization to ensure employee health and safety is maintained and a responsible environment is created for the delivery of high-quality products and services.
Requirements:Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related discipline (preferred). Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a hard-science discipline is strongly preferred at minimum. Eligibility to obtain and maintain the security clearances required by national authorities and the OEM partner. Minimum 8+ years of executive leadership experience within the defense, security, aerospace, or advanced-technology sectors at Executive or CEO level. Demonstrable track record of capturing and delivering major defense programs, including government / FMS / direct-commercial contracts. Experience operating within a joint-venture structure involving a sovereign / strategic shareholder and a global defense OEM is highly desirable. Proven international business experience, with credibility across both government end-users and global industrial partners.
