The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and company assets. This role involves monitoring premises, preventing security risks, and responding promptly to incidents. The Security Officer plays a key role in supporting the efficient operation of the organization’s security function while delivering a high standard of customer service at all times.
Qualifications:·A professional diploma or certification in Safety and Security is highly preferred, demonstrating formal training and a strong understanding of industry standards, risk management, and safety protocols.
·A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience working as a Security Officer or in a similar role is required, with a track record of maintaining safety, handling incidents, and supporting security operations effectively.
·Candidates should possess strong practical and operational knowledge of security procedures, along with well-developed administrative skills, including report writing, record-keeping, and documentation. These competencies will be considered a significant asset in ensuring the efficient execution of security duties and compliance with organizational standards.
