We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Security Officer.
As a Security Office Agent at Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and peace of mind of our guests, colleagues, and hotel assets. You will serve as a trusted guardian of both properties, upholding the highest standards of vigilance, discretion, and professionalism that define Raffles and Fairmont.
In this role, you will be a key presence in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment, responding promptly to incidents, monitoring security systems, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure smooth and effective operations. You will handle all security-related inquiries and situations with calm authority, attention to detail, and respect for guest privacy.
You will play an essential role in safeguarding the integrity of the guest experience, ensuring that every arrival, stay, and departure reflects the elegance, refinement, and uncompromising commitment to excellence that define Raffles and Fairmont.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a constant presence in supporting the safety, security, and protection of guests, colleagues, and hotel property across Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha.
- Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, ensuring all areas are secure, well-monitored, and compliant with established safety and security procedures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations, following hotel protocols and escalation procedures.
- Provide courteous and discreet assistance to guests, colleagues, and visitors while maintaining a calm, reassuring presence at all times.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technologies to ensure effective surveillance and threat prevention.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure a safe and seamless guest environment.
- Control access to restricted areas and ensure proper identification and authorization procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in managing and documenting incidents, accidents, and safety concerns with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Support the implementation of fire safety, evacuation procedures, and emergency response plans in accordance with hotel standards.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel security policies, procedures, and brand standards while upholding the luxury service culture of Raffles & Fairmont Doha.
- Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and records as required by departmental procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and teamwork, ensuring the protection of the hotel s reputation and assets.
Desired Candidate Profile
What will you bring to this role?
- Previous experience in security operations, loss prevention, or a similar safety and security role within a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage in an international luxury setting.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and situational awareness with a strong commitment to guest and colleague safety.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently, respectfully, and discreetly with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and decisive under pressure, particularly in emergency or high-risk situations.
- Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and incident reporting platforms is preferred.
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a coordinated team in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required in a 24/7 operational setting.
