About the job Manager, Business Applications (Procurement) - 6 months Contract

Role Overview


The role will be responsible for delivering all aspects of Procurement transformation within a major ERP program at an international airport, focused on Oracle Fusion.


The role will drive process design, automation, and integration of procurement modules, ensuring alignment with airport procurement objectives and regulatory requirements.


The position requires close coordination with data management, change management, and system integration teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption of procurement capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


Process Design & Automation


  • Lead the design and optimization of procurement processes, leveraging Oracle Fusion best practices for source-to-settle, supplier management, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities in requisitioning, purchase order processing, supplier onboarding, and invoice management.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and user guides for procurement modules in coordination with organizational change management team of the project.
  • Align with approved Target operating mode.

System Integration & Data Coordination


  • Collaborate with the data team to ensure accurate migration and validation of supplier and procurement data from legacy systems.
  • Coordinate with system integration streams to ensure procurement modules are integrated with Finance, EAM, Inventory, and HR.
  • Oversee end-to-end testing of procurement integrations and resolve related issues.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management


  • Act as the primary procurement liaison with business leads, IT, and external partners.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for procurement process alignment and user adoption in coordination with organizational change management team of the project.
  • Support change management initiatives, including communication plans and training for procurement users.

Project Delivery & Governance


  • Align with the central PMO to manage project plans and deliverables for procurement workstream.
  • Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies related to procurement and drive resolution.

Compliance & Security


  • Ensure procurement processes comply with internal and external regulatory requirements (e.g., procurement policies, audit standards).
  • Collaborate with IT/security teams to implement secure procurement solutions.

Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in ERP implementations (preferably Oracle Fusion) with a focus on Supply chain management in an asset-intensive or airport environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in procurement process design, automation, and system integration.
  • Experience coordinating with data, change management, and IT teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Professional certifications in Oracle Supply chain management, Procurement, project management, or supply chain (preferred).
