We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT Department for a prestigious luxury hospitality property in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of all technology systems and infrastructure while supporting operational excellence across the organization.
Role Description• Manage and supervise daily IT operations and lead the IT support team• Provide technical support related to network systems, applications, hardware, and software• Monitor and maintain network resources, servers, and computer systems• Ensure regular system backups and successful antivirus protection updates• Maintain smooth operation of wireless networks and hospitality applications• Install, maintain, and support computer equipment and peripherals• Monitor and record all system breakdowns, repairs, and upgrades• Advise management on IT development plans and hardware/software purchases• Maintain accurate records of software licenses and IT inventory• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for technical support and maintenance• Ensure security of the organization’s logical and physical IT infrastructure• Support technology initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity
Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field• Minimum 6 years of experience in the hospitality sector• Mandatory experience in luxury hospitality or 5-star hotel operations• Strong technical skills in:• Network Administration• System Administration• Database Management• Hardware & Software Troubleshooting• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
