Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Generator Application Engineer to join our client team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting power generation solutions for various industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Study project specifications, electrical drawings, and customer requirements. 

• Perform generator sizing and selection based on load calculations and project requirements. 

• Prepare technical proposals, compliance sheets, and costing documents. 

• Design customized power generation solutions including generators, ATS, synchronization panels, and switchgear. 

• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, consultants, and internal teams. 

• Support project execution, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.  

• Conduct site visits, technical meetings, and customer presentations. 

• Provide technical support during tendering and project execution stages. 

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering submittals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in generator or power generation industry. 

• Strong knowledge of diesel generators, ATS, synchronization systems, and switchgear. 

• Experience in generator sizing and load analysis. 

• Familiarity with engineering software and technical configuration tools. 

• Good understanding of electrical systems and power distribution. 

• Strong communication and project coordination skills. 

• GCC experience preferred. 

• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
