Roles & Responsibilities
The Network Security Architect will lead the design and evolution of our clients' security posture. This includes transitioning toward Zero Trust architectures, optimizing cloud-edge security (SASE), and ensuring that all network-level controls—through the seven OSI layers —are integrated, automated, and high-performing.
Responsibilities-
Design and develop robust network security architectures and blueprints for (LAN, WAN, VPN, Data Center, and Cloud).
Demonstrate deep technical knowledge and hands-on proficiency across a wide range of industry-leading network security solutions, including NGFW, Edge & Web Security, Email Security, web application security, DDoS & Availability, DNS Security, NAC, and NDR.
Collaborate on complex technical migrations between major security platforms (e.g., firewall transitions, DNS security upgrades, and CASB implementations) without service disruption.
Act as the ultimate escalation point and SME for a diverse stack of network security solutions.
Contributing to the RFP (Request for Proposal) process. This includes drafting technical specifications, evaluating vendor responses, managing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and ensuring vendor accountability during implementation.
Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Stay updated on emerging security technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualification-
10+ years of experience, including significant time in an architect or SME capacity.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional-level vendor certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCNP Security, or NSE 7) are mandatory. Other certificates like CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, and SABSA are highly preferred.
Proven experience in network security architecture, design, and implementation.
Strong knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and standards.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
