Roles & Responsibilities

The Network Security Architect will lead the design and evolution of our clients' security posture. This includes transitioning toward Zero Trust architectures, optimizing cloud-edge security (SASE), and ensuring that all network-level controls—through the seven OSI layers —are integrated, automated, and high-performing.

Responsibilities-

• Design and develop robust network security architectures and blueprints for (LAN, WAN, VPN, Data Center, and Cloud).

• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge and hands-on proficiency across a wide range of industry-leading network security solutions, including NGFW, Edge & Web Security, Email Security, web application security, DDoS & Availability, DNS Security, NAC, and NDR.

• Collaborate on complex technical migrations between major security platforms (e.g., firewall transitions, DNS security upgrades, and CASB implementations) without service disruption.

• Act as the ultimate escalation point and SME for a diverse stack of network security solutions.

• Contributing to the RFP (Request for Proposal) process. This includes drafting technical specifications, evaluating vendor responses, managing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and ensuring vendor accountability during implementation.

• Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.

Qualification-

• 10+ years of experience, including significant time in an architect or SME capacity.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Professional-level vendor certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCNP Security, or NSE 7) are mandatory. Other certificates like CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, and SABSA are highly preferred.

• Proven experience in network security architecture, design, and implementation.

• Strong knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and standards.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
