Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SCADA team with daily operations and troubleshooting of the Aveva System Platform.
- Support in configuring, testing, and deploying HMI screens and industrial dashboards.
- Participate in system documentation, including asset registers, configuration manuals, and system diagrams.
- Aid in integration testing of field devices (RTUs, PLCs, sensors) with the SCADA system.
- Work alongside senior engineers during system upgrades, backups, and patch implementations.
- Learn and apply industrial protocols like Modbus, OPC, DNP3 under supervision.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Follow cybersecurity protocols and ensure documentation is stored in compliance with DNMC guidelines.
Requirements:
Education: Recent graduate or final-year student in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Industrial Automation or related field.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of SCADA, PLCs, or industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with any HMI/SCADA platform is a plus (Aveva, Siemens, Ignition, etc.).
- Comfortable working with Windows Server environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering team.
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation habits.
- Good verbal and written communication in English.
