Role & responsibilities
Quality Manager Civil will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance and quality control systems for large-scale building construction projects. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and statutory regulations throughout all stages of construction.
- Develop and implement Project Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
- Monitor QA/QC activities for civil and structural works.
- Lead quality inspections, audits, and material approvals.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams regarding quality issues.
- Review Inspection Test Plans (ITP), quality procedures, and method statement
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 15 18 years of experience in QA/QC for building construction projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial towers, residential projects, or mixed-use developments.
- GCC experience preferred, especially in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of international construction standards and QA/QC procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Good understanding of concrete technology, finishing quality, and structural inspections.
- Ability to handle client/consultant interactions independently.
