Role Description This is a contract role for a Freelance HSE Trainer with experience in shutdown environments. The position is on-site, based in Doha, Qatar. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training tailored to shutdown operations. The role involves conducting interactive training sessions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements, and fostering a culture of safety within client organizations. Trainers will also support participants by providing clear communication of key HSE concepts.
Qualifications Proficiency in Health & Safety management, with knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards NEBOSH qualification or equivalent certifications Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences Experience in delivering Training, including Safety Training specific to shutdown operations Demonstrated ability to adapt instructional methods to different cultural settings and learner needs Understanding of operational requirements in industries such as Oil & Gas, Construction, or Energy is highly desirable Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field Proficient in English, with additional language skills being advantageous
