We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of construction or marine projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning, resource allocation, and progress reporting using industry-standard software. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to establish work breakdown structures (WBS) • Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and report variances • Identify critical path activities and potential delays; propose mitigation measures • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and look-ahead schedules • Track resource allocation (manpower, equipment, materials) and advise on optimization • Assist in preparing project proposals, tender schedules, and baseline programs • Update schedules based on change orders, variations, or revised project requirements • Conduct delay analysis and assist in preparation of EOT (Extension of Time) claims • Attend progress meetings and present planning updates to stakeholders • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to align material delivery with construction schedules • Maintain historical project data for future reference and lessons learned • Ensure compliance with project specifications and contract requirements

Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction, marine, or infrastructure projects • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project • Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, earned value management, and delay analysis • Experience with marine or offshore construction projects is an advantage • Familiarity with project controls software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus • Certification in PMP or PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) preferred Required Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Effective communication and report writing skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting • Fluency in English; Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus
