About the Role: We are seeking a qualified QAQC Engineer specialized in piling, deep excavation, and quay wall construction to ensure quality control and assurance for marine and geotechnical works. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in bored/driven piles, sheet piling, excavation support systems, and concrete quay wall structures. Key Responsibilities: Piling Quality: • Inspect pile installation including bored piles, driven piles, sheet piles, and marine pile driving • Verify pile alignment, verticality, toe level, reinforcement cage fabrication, and concrete pouring • Witness and document pile load tests (static, dynamic, PDA) and integrity tests (PIT, CSL) Excavation Quality: • Monitor deep excavation sequences, shoring systems, strutting, and dewatering • Ensure excavation slopes, benching, and soil support comply with approved method statements • Inspect ground anchors, tiebacks, and shotcreting for excavation stability Quay Wall Quality: • Inspect quay wall construction including diaphragm walls, blockwork, cast-in-situ concrete, or precast elements • Check formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, curing, and surface finishes • Verify alignment, level, and tolerances of quay wall structures against design drawings General QAQC Duties: • Develop and implement ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) and quality procedures for all activities • Review material submittals, method statements, and concrete mix designs • Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and verify corrective actions • Maintain comprehensive quality records, test reports, and inspection logs • Coordinate with client, consultant, and third-party testing agencies • Prepare daily/weekly QAQC reports for project management

Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering • Minimum 5+ years of QAQC experience in piling, excavation, and quay wall/marine structures • Knowledge of relevant codes: BS EN 1536 (bored piles), BS EN 12699 (driven piles), BS 6349 (maritime structures), ACI, ASTM • Familiarity with pile testing methods and excavation support systems • Experience with marine or waterfront projects is mandatory • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification preferred • Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software Required Skills: • Strong attention to detail and technical documentation • Good communication and coordination with site teams, clients, and testers • Problem-solving for quality issues and root cause analysis • Ability to read and interpret piling, excavation, and quay wall drawings • Fluency in English (Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a plus)
