Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service in line with Raffles luxury standards.
Greet and seat guests in a courteous and elegant manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations on food and beverage offerings, including Italian specialties and pairings.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and service standards are maintained.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
Maintain strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout service.
Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Promote restaurant offerings, upsell menu items, and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and operational standards at all times.
Support closing duties, including cleaning and resetting tables and service areas.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience as a Waiter/Server in an Italian restaurant or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards.
Michelin-starred restaurant experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.
Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
