Job description
Senior structural engineers to design, analyze, and review structural systems and components for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, code compliance, constructability, and alignment with project requirements.
Skills
- Prepare Conduct structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures using appropriate design codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes, QCS).
- Prepare or review design calculations, structural reports, and technical documentation.
- Develop and coordinate structural drawings and specifications in collaboration with draftsmen and other disciplines (architectural, MEP, geotechnical).
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methods to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Perform site visits, inspections, and structural assessments during design and construction phases as needed.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to address design-related issues, RFIs, and variation orders.
- Ensure that structural designs are cost-effective, sustainable, and meet safety and performance criteria.
- Keep up to date with advancements in materials, codes, and technologies relevant to structural engineering.
Support project planning by providing input on structural timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
