Job description

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scopes, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, maintaining clear communication to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Ensure projects adhere to local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements in Qatar, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
  • Implement stringent quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and reviews to maintain high standards of workmanship and materials.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address challenges promptly.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, optimizing productivity and minimizing wastage.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, permits, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Monitor project progress against established timelines, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Address project-related challenges and issues, making informed decisions and coordinating with relevant parties for effective resolutions.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, providing regular updates, and ensuring overall client satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure cohesive collaboration and successful project completion.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions, keeping stakeholders informed of project developments
  • Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the Superior(s)

Skills

Education:

bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.

 A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience:

06-8 years of experience, preferably 04 years in a similar field within the same industry, depending on academic qualification.

 

Professional Training:

The attainment of any of the below certificates is a plus:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

 

Additional requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the technology sector, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle, hardware implementation, or other relevant technology projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English.
