Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational planning frameworks.
  • Oversee planning activities, performance monitoring, and KPI management across departments.
  • Provide expert guidance on planning methodologies, governance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop executive dashboards, reports, forecasts, and strategic insights for leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between organizational objectives, projects, and operational plans.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and planning deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and management teams on planning and transformation initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and performance evaluation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and government regulations.
  • Mentor and support junior planning team members where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning, operational planning, PMO, or performance management.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting/dashboard tools.
  • Ability to manage complex planning initiatives and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning, operational planning, PMO, or performance management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mandatory local experience with government exposure.
  • Arabic Speaker preferred/mandatory.
  • Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working with government entities, transformation programs, or large enterprises is highly preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or equivalent certifications will be an advantage.

Experience Required

  • 8 12 years of relevant experience in planning, strategic planning, PMO, governance, or performance management.
  • Proven experience leading planning initiatives and managing stakeholder engagements in government or large organizations.
  • Experience in KPI management, executive reporting, forecasting, and operational planning is highly preferred.
