Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide strategic and operational planning initiatives.
  • Develop and implement planning frameworks, governance models, and performance management processes.
  • Oversee KPI tracking, executive dashboards, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and planning insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between organizational strategy, projects, and operational objectives.
  • Monitor planning risks, dependencies, and performance indicators across programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with executive stakeholders, departments, and external entities on planning activities.
  • Support transformation programs, policy development, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations.
  • Mentor and guide planning teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, PMO, governance, or performance management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in reporting tools, dashboards, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage high-level planning activities and executive communications.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mandatory local experience with government exposure.
  • Arabic Speaker preferred/mandatory.
  • Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working within government entities, large transformation programs, or public-sector organizations is highly preferred.
  • PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.

Experience Required

  • 10 15 years of relevant experience in planning, strategic planning, PMO, governance, or performance management.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale planning initiatives and managing executive stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong background in KPI management, forecasting, reporting, governance, and organizational planning.
