Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PMO governance initiatives and ensure adherence to organizational standards and methodologies
- Manage project portfolio reporting, performance tracking, and executive-level dashboards
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and resource utilization across programs
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve project delivery and PMO maturity
- Facilitate governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and project audits
- Support enterprise transformation programs and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate with senior stakeholders, business leaders, project managers, and vendors
- Develop and maintain PMO policies, templates, frameworks, and reporting structures
- Conduct project health assessments and compliance reviews
- Support resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity management activities
- Mentor PMO teams and provide guidance on best practices and governance processes
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 8 12 years of experience in PMO, project governance, portfolio management, or consulting roles
- Strong local market experience is mandatory
- Government or semi-government sector experience is required
- Arabic speaking skills are preferred/mandatory
- Strong expertise in PMO governance frameworks, portfolio management, and project lifecycle methodologies
- Experience with PMO and reporting tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Power BI, or ServiceNow
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex enterprise projects and strategic programs
Preferred Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- PgMP / PfMP Certifications
- PMI-PMOCP or equivalent PMO certifications
- Agile / Scrum Certifications
- ITIL Certification
