Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PMO governance initiatives and ensure adherence to organizational standards and methodologies
• Manage project portfolio reporting, performance tracking, and executive-level dashboards
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and resource utilization across programs
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve project delivery and PMO maturity
• Facilitate governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and project audits
• Support enterprise transformation programs and strategic initiatives
• Coordinate with senior stakeholders, business leaders, project managers, and vendors
• Develop and maintain PMO policies, templates, frameworks, and reporting structures
• Conduct project health assessments and compliance reviews
• Support resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity management activities
• Mentor PMO teams and provide guidance on best practices and governance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 8 12 years of experience in PMO, project governance, portfolio management, or consulting roles
• Strong local market experience is mandatory
• Government or semi-government sector experience is required
• Arabic speaking skills are preferred/mandatory
• Strong expertise in PMO governance frameworks, portfolio management, and project lifecycle methodologies
• Experience with PMO and reporting tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Power BI, or ServiceNow
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage complex enterprise projects and strategic programs

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• PgMP / PfMP Certifications
• PMI-PMOCP or equivalent PMO certifications
• Agile / Scrum Certifications
• ITIL Certification

Preferred Experience

• Government digital transformation and strategic initiatives
• Enterprise PMO implementation and PMO maturity enhancement
• Large-scale portfolio and program management
• Executive stakeholder engagement and governance management

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced PMO Senior Consultant to lead and support enterprise PMO governance, portfolio management, strategic reporting, and project delivery oversight across large-scale programs and government environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in PMO frameworks, governance models, project controls, and organizational transformation initiatives.

Candidates must have strong local market experience, government sector exposure, professional certifications, and Arabic language proficiency is highly preferred.
