Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support PMO governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies
  • Prepare and present executive-level project and portfolio reports
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure projects comply with organizational PMO policies and governance standards
  • Coordinate with business, technical, and external stakeholders across multiple projects
  • Maintain project dashboards, KPIs, RAID logs, and status trackers
  • Support portfolio management, resource planning, and project prioritization activities
  • Conduct project performance analysis and provide strategic recommendations
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and governance reviews
  • Assist in PMO process improvements and transformation initiatives
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and quality assurance activities

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or related field
  • 5 10 years of experience in PMO, project governance, or project management support roles
  • Strong local market experience is mandatory
  • Experience working with government or semi-government entities is required
  • Arabic speaking skills are preferred/mandatory
  • Strong understanding of PMO frameworks, governance, and project lifecycle management
  • Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Power BI, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2 Certification
  • PMI-PMOCP or equivalent PMO certifications
  • Agile / Scrum Certifications
  • ITIL Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Government digital transformation projects
  • Enterprise PMO and portfolio management experience
  • Experience in strategic reporting and executive presentations
  • Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional teams
