Roles & Responsibilities

Join EY s Business Development team in Qatar to drive growth, client satisfaction, and strategic pursuits across Government and public sector entities, including ministries, authorities, and key national programs.

This role is client-centric and market-facing, requiring the ability to leverage EY s global network to deliver solutions addressing complex government priorities. You will work closely with service line leaders, partners, and Business Development teams to execute go-to-market strategies, manage pipelines, and lead strategic pursuits aligned with Qatar s national development agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership & Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including government leaders and decision-makers. Act as a strategic advisor by identifying client needs and aligning EY solutions to deliver measurable impact.
  • Business Development & Growth: Drive revenue and pipeline growth across government entities and related sectors. Lead proposals, presentations, and negotiations for large-scale and strategic engagements.
  • Strategy & Market Input: Work with leadership to shape sector strategies and campaigns. Provide insights on public sector trends, reforms, and emerging opportunities within Qatar.
  • Operational Excellence: Apply EY account management frameworks to monitor pipeline, track performance, and support revenue planning across key accounts.
  • Talent Leadership: Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing BD team with strong understanding of government sector dynamics.

Skills & Attributes for Success

  • Proven experience selling complex solutions at the C-level within government, public sector, or national programs.
  • Strong understanding of Qatar s public sector landscape and key government stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and ability to work across a matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in account management, opportunity development, and pipeline growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes, government procurement, and proposals.
  • Ability to convert data into actionable strategic insights.

Ideally, you ll also have

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in business or related field.
  • 10 15+ years of experience in business development or consulting environments.
  • Strong relationships across key government stakeholders in Qatar.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and delivering growth.
  • Qatari National (required).
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
