Position: Materials Engineer Job overview: A highly skilled Material Engineer with at least 4 to 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical evaluation,material inspection, preservation, and provide necessary support to Inventory Management. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge of materials used in oil and gas applications, the ability to assess material integrity, and to ensure efficient inventory management and cost savings. This position also will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure materials meet all required standards for performance, quality, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Material Technical Evaluation: • Conduct detailed technical evaluations and assessments of materials used in oil and gas operations, equipment spare parts. • Review material specifications, product certification, and test data to ensure that all materials meet industry standards (e.g., ASTM, API, NACE). • Provide recommendations on material selection based on performance, environmental standards, cost efficiency, and safety standards. Material Preservation: • Oversee and manage material preservation processes, ensuring materials are stored, handled, and maintained according to best practices and industry standards. • Develop and implement preservation plans to protect materials from environmental factors (corrosion, moisture, temperature fluctuations) during storage and transit. • Monitor and track the condition of preserved materials, ensuring that materials remain in optimum condition for use in operations. • Train personnel in best practices for material preservation and ensure compliance with preservation procedures and industry regulations. ·Inventory Management: • Identify duplicate materials across inventory to optimise stock levels, reduce excess material, and avoid unnecessary procurement costs. • Assist in reconciling material inventories by conducting audits and ensuring proper cataloguing of materials to minimise the risk of duplication. Collaboration and Reporting: • Collaborate with the procurement technical department and project teams to provide technical input on material selection. preservation. and identification to support project goals and time. • Prepare and present technical reports, analysis, and recommendations related to material, preservation plans, and inventory control for management and other stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes related to material management and preservation. Position: Cataloguing Engineer Job Overview: A highly skilled and motivated Cataloguing Engineer with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The Cataloguing Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the cataloguing system for various equipment, materials, and spare parts used in oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of industry-specific equipment, cataloguing processes, and documentation management to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and manage an accurate and comprehensive cataloguing system for all equipment, materials, and spare parts utilized in the oil and gas industry. • Ensure that catalogued items are accurately identified, described, and classified, categorized according to company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. • Work closely with procurement, user department, and operations teams to ensure cataloguing is consistent with operational requirements and technical specifications. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and databases related to catalogued equipment and materials, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. • Conduct regular audits of catalogued items and implement improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cataloguing processes. • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal teams to update and validate catalogued items, including the addition of new materials. • Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams regarding cataloguing practices. ensuring alignment with the project and operational requirements. • Maintain a robust system for tracking part numbers, descriptions, and lifecycle status of catalogued equipment. • Assist in the development and optimization of cataloguing procedures to meet the dynamic needs of the oil and gas industry. • Ensure all cataloguing work is following applicable safety and regulatory standards, well as internal procedures.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trial engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on technical evaluation, material preservation, and duplicate identification. • Strong knowledge of materials used in oil and gas operations, including (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys), and other industry-specific materials. • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to material selection, preservation, and quality assurance (e.g.,ASTM, API, NACE). • Familiarity with material preservation methods and best practices, including corrosion prevention and storage conditions. • Knowledge of ERP systems. • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong ability to identify and address issues related to material duplication and inventory management. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. with the ability to evaluate complex material-related challenges and propose effective solutions. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including the technical department, • Procurements and operations, to meet project and operational objectives. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce technical reports, presentations and documentation.
