Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle APEX Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, data-driven web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). You will bridge the gap between complex database architecture and modern user interfaces, ensuring enterprise solutions are scalable, secure, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end web applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database.
• Develop advanced SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers) to implement business logic.
• Build and integrate RESTful Web Services using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for seamless system connectivity.
• Customize and enhance UI components using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 beyond standard APEX templates.
• Optimize application performance through SQL tuning and efficient component design.
• Implement robust security measures including authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes following best practices.

Technical Requirements:

• Oracle Stack: Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX (21.x/22.x/23.x+) and Oracle Database (19c/21c).
• Programming Languages: Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integration: Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML for data exchange.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.
• Tools: Hands-on experience with SQL Developer, SQLcl, and Git-based version control systems.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to tune queries and improve application responsiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

Technical Requirements:

• Oracle Stack: Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX (21.x/22.x/23.x+) and Oracle Database (19c/21c).
• Programming Languages: Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of APEX plugins, dynamic actions, and custom components.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of security best practices in web and database applications.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
