Main Responsibilities & Tasks

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

System Architecture and Design

Design & implement scalable, secure, and reliable server and storage architectures aligned with business objectives

Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture diagrams, documentation & standards

System Operations and Maintenance

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain server and storage uptime, performing routine audits, security checks & proactive maintenance

Develop & implement automated monitoring tools and processes to minimize downtime

Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure

Design & implement virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) ensuring seamless integration

Optimize virtualized environments for performance, scalability, and resource utilization

System Security and Compliance

Implement robust system security measures (access controls, encryption) safeguarding against cyber threats and data breaches

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company security policies

Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise and best practices enhancing team capabilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring seamless integration of system infrastructure

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications (e.g., Education)

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Work Experience (e.g., Number of years and field / role)

Minimum 7 years in system engineering preferably in transportation or logistics industries

Certificates & Trainings

Any relevant certification or training such as:

CompTIA Server+ or VMware VCP

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

ITIL Foundation or equivalent
