Company: Join one of the largest diversified construction groups, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in steel fabrication and installation for the oil & gas sector. Position Overview: The General Manager is a leadership role, fully responsible for P&L and the day-to-day operations of the business. Full oversight of Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Design, Estimation & Commercial, Manufacturing, Project Management and Controls, Site Operations, Quality and HSE. Job Summary: Strategic Planning and Execution: • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives. • Drive business growth and profitability targets set by the board and executive management. • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of both the steel fabrication factory and construction projects. • Ensure efficient production processes and project execution. • Monitor and optimize resource allocation, including manpower and materials. Business Development: • Explore and penetrate new markets within the GCC and internationally. • Develop strategies to expand the company’s footprint and diversify its service offerings. • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders within the GCC and international markets. • Lead efforts to register the company with potential clients and secure new contracts. Financial Oversight: • Manage P&L for the divisions, ensuring financial targets are met. • Prepare and present financial reports to the board and executive management. • Identify and manage costs to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness. Project Management: • Conduct regular project reviews and ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards. • Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring for both factory and construction sites. Sales and Estimation: • Oversee the preparation of bids, offers, and quotations for clients. • Lead tender participation and follow-up on enquiries to secure work orders. Team Leadership and Development: • Manage and mentor a team of managers, engineers, supervisors, and technicians. • Promote process improvement and continuous improvement programs. • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities. Quality and HSE Management: • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product standards. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Provide safety training and foster a culture of safety across the organization. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: • Conduct regular meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address concerns. • Maintain strong communication channels to facilitate smooth project execution and client relations. Reporting and Documentation: • Prepare detailed reports on production, sales, and project progress for management review. • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all operations and projects. Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations and standards. • Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to guide strategic decisions.

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant degree. • 15+ years of experience in steel fabrication, covering process equipment, tanks, piping, pressure vessels etc. • Experience working in GCC / Middle East market would be advantageous. • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
