Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

-Liaises with electricity distribution department for collecting the material requirements needed for planned and unplanned outages for KM projects submits to Senior Engineer-Material Planning for review.

-Assists Senior Engineer-Material Planning in collection of material planning information for electricity network in coordination with relevant department and section heads.

-Liaises with other departments and sections to assist in material selection by carefully evaluating project plans, projects bill of quantity and cost, etc.

-Liaises with department and section heads to collect data on consumption of various materials and compiles collected data for analysis.

-Conducts periodic inspections of warehouses to record the stock level of all material required for development and maintenance of electricity network and submits a report on the same.

-Prepares of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for all tendering processes related to procurement of material for electricity network.

-Develops necessary and relevant reports (daily, weekly ,monthly, annual etc.) pertaining to material planning and submits it to Senior Engineer-Material Planning for analysis.

-Review & approve material/spare parts as per KM standards & Specification.

-Well-experience in contract management (upon newly contract award to create item codes for newly items, and upon contract closing by coordinating with concerned team/dept. to request the required materials.

-To perform any other related duty as required by the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university with minimum 8-10 years experience in utility/consultancy/standards & specifications.

-Past experience with distribution material standard and specifications.
