Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise telecommunication systems, including voice, video, and collaboration platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining telecom infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless communication across business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM), VoIP, and telephony systems, along with hands-on troubleshooting and support experience in complex environments. Key Responsibilities1. Telecom Infrastructure Management Manage and administer enterprise telecommunication systems:PBX systems VoIP networks Phone switches and fax servers Oversee day-to-day telecom operations across all sites Handle moves, adds, and changes (MACD) for telephony systems2. Design & Implementation Analyze business requirements and design telecom architecture Support implementation of:Cisco Unified Communications solutions Voice and video collaboration platforms Participate in evaluating telecom hardware and software solutions3. Cisco Collaboration & Voice Systems Manage and support:Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Connection Cisco Contact Center solutions Ensure smooth integration of voice, video, and collaboration tools4. Troubleshooting & Support Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis Resolve complex telecom and network-related issues Support SLA-driven service delivery during live operations Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams for issue resolution5. Network & System Maintenance Execute preventive maintenance and system health checks Monitor telecom systems for performance and reliability Ensure compliance with operational standards and policies6. Disaster Recovery & Documentation Support telecom disaster recovery planning and testing Maintain updated documentation for telecom infrastructure Ensure readiness and reliability of communication systems7. Performance Optimization & Improvements Evaluate and recommend telecom hardware/software improvements Optimize network performance and communication quality Support deployment of enhancements and new solutions8.
