Role description:Quantity surveying and commercial management best practice with sound understanding of construction contracts and contract administration procedureswork in a fast-paced environment to independently produce consistent quality deliverables that demonstrate comprehensive understanding of construction risk and analytical thought Managing tending process and overseeing external consultants and valuers engaged by the bank Proactively monitoring risks associated with the financed projects, coordinating with CCU and CRE team pre and post sanction Conduct real estate valuation and reviewing external valuers’ reports Reviewing feasibility studies and contractors’ profiles for performance capability.
Key requirements:Degree in civil engineering.10+ years of experience in relevant roles, with quantity surveying, contract administration, and commercial management roles. Knowledge in QCS and Qatar authorities’ requirements. Knowledge in Qatar construction market. Understanding of banking industry and lender’s perspective in project financing and project management. Understanding real estate valuation Ability to manage portfolio of 20+ projects, fast paced yet delicate reporting
