Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer based in Qatar. The ELV Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security, communication, and building management systems. Additional responsibilities include conducting site surveys, preparing project plans, managing technical documentation, and coordinating with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of systems. The role also involves providing technical support, overseeing system testing, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in designing and implementing ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and fire alarm systems Competency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and system diagnostics for low voltage systems Experience with system integrations and coordination between various engineering disciplines Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards specific to ELV installations Strong skills in project planning, documentation, and technical reporting Ability to conduct site surveys, prepare drawings and create detailed technical plans Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams Relevant academic qualifications in Engineering, with ELV system certifications preferred Prior experience working within the security or IT industry is a plus
