Job description
- Plan and oversee the implementation of detection system projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and engineers, to integrate advanced detection technologies into various projects.
- Conduct regular assessments to optimize the performance of detection systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal company specifications in the design and deployment of detection solutions.
- Coordinate project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable plans for the development and enhancement of detection systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform decision-making and project planning.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in detection technology, incorporating relevant innovations into project designs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and progress reports.
- Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on the use and maintenance of detection systems.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of detection technologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of detection system projects.
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction with the implemented detection solutions.
- Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the immediate superior(s).
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in a related field such as electrical engineering, computer engineering,
- Master’s Degree is a plus.
- 06-08+ years of experience including a combination of estimating; and project engineering and/or project supervision/management.
The attainment of any of the below certificates is a plus:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Estimating Professional (CPE).
- Software House CCure 9000 Certified Engineer
- Hikvision Certified Security Training
- Hikvision ACS Certified Training
- Betafence Certified Professional ( Automatic System, Mechanical Installation Adjustment Safety Regulation & Maintenance, Automation Electrical Commissioning and Maintenance
- Axis CCTV training
- Knowledgeable of the local market (at least 3 years Qatar experience)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skill
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with estimating software platforms including Candy, AutoCAD and Revit is considered as a plus.
