Role Summary Provide technical support, maintenance, and administration of IT systems (hardware, software, network, and cloud). Ensure high availability, security, and performance while supporting internal IT operations and system administrators.
Key Responsibilities System Administration & Support Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and software Troubleshoot system, hardware, and application issues (event logs, audits, errors) Support backend/frontend servers in clustered/load-balanced environments Ensure 24/7 system uptime and high availability Security & Compliance Assist in developing system policies, procedures, and server hardening Implement security controls, antivirus, anti-spam, and endpoint protection Follow ITIL/MOF frameworks and internal processes Monitoring & Maintenance Monitor system performance and resolve deviations Manage patching, upgrades, and hotfix deployments Plan downtime via change management processes Backup & Disaster Recovery Manage backups (Veeam), job scheduling, monitoring, and restoration Test backup integrity and ensure disaster recovery readiness Infrastructure & Inventory Maintain inventory of hardware, software, licenses, and warranties Support procurement (RFPs, technical evaluations) and IT projects Reporting Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports
