Responsibilities

  • Assemble, erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding systems (tube & fitting, modular, suspended, cantilever, mobile towers) in offshore environments.


  • Conduct pre-use inspections of scaffolding materials and equipment to ensure compliance with offshore safety standards.


  • Interpret offshore engineering drawings, site layouts, and work instructions to determine scaffolding requirements.


  • Secure scaffolding structures to withstand offshore conditions (wind, vibration, marine environment).


  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of scaffolding during project execution.


  • Ensure compliance with offshore HSE standards, including confined space, working-at-height, and permit-to-work systems.


  • Collaborate with offshore supervisors, engineers, and multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate scaffolding needs.



RequirementsQualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in scaffolding preferred.


  • Certified Offshore Scaffolder (CISRS, CITB, TUV, or equivalent international certification).


  • Minimum 3–5 years scaffolding experience, with at least 2 years in offshore oil & gas or marine projects.


  • Strong knowledge of offshore scaffolding systems, load calculations, and safety procedures.


  • Ability to read and interpret offshore technical drawings and site plans.


  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in challenging offshore conditions.
