Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Measure, mark, and align workpieces using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain records of production, machine settings, and quality checks.
Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve machining processes.
Diploma / Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or related field.
Proven experience (3–5 years) as a Machinist in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of machine operations, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of CNC programming (preferred).
