Job Summary


Our client, a multinational catering company, is seeking a Cost Manager with more than 10 years of experience. 
 

Job Description:
 




Cost Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate standard costs for all products, materials, and production processes. Conduct regular variance analysis comparing actual costs to standard costs and budgets.




Profitability Management: Work closely with the Sales and Production teams to calculate job costs, determine product profitability, and advise on pricing strategies.




Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget, focusing on manufacturing costs, overheads, and capital expenditures.




Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and implement cost-saving opportunities across all areas of the manufacturing process, from material procurement to finished goods.




Inventory Valuation: Oversee the valuation of inventory (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods) in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.




 




Job Requirements:


 




Mandatory: A minimum of 10 years of progressive, hands-on experience specifically within the catering industry




Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CMA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.




Proven expertise in cost accounting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.




Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.




Proficiency with advanced Excel skills.




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with production, procurement, and management teams.
