1. DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLEWe are seeking a VR Developer to build an immersive, multi-user virtual reality simulation using Unity. The developer will design interactive environments, implement branching scenarios, develop networking features, integrate telemetry, optimize performance for standalone VR devices, and support testing with faculty and students. The role includes work with LBE mode setups, multi-user synchronization, and hardware such as the HTC Vive Focus 3.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES2.1. Develop VR environments, interactions, and branching scenarios in Unity.2.2. Implement multi-user networking with reliable real time synchronization.2.3. Optimize VR performance using Unity profiling tools and best practice techniques.2.4. Support LBE mode operation for multi-user room scale sessions.2.5. Configure and maintain VR headsets including HTC Vive Focus 3 systems.2.6. Integrate telemetry for behavioral and performance data collection.2.7. Support user testing sessions and maintain technical documentation.
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE3.1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Game Development, Interactive Media, HCI, or related field.3.2. 2+ years of VR/AR/XR development experience.3.3. Strong Unity development skills, including optimization and profiling.3.4. Experience with multi-user or networked VR systems.3.5. Familiarity with standalone VR headsets and LBE mode setups.3.6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE4.1. Experience with healthcare or educational simulation projects.4.2. Knowledge of research-based user testing and data governance.4.3. Experience with 3D asset workflows (e.g., Blender).4.4. Arabic language proficiency.
