Overview
An established organisation within the energy and industrial sector is seeking an experienced Treasury Specialist to support its Finance and Planning function. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial stability and strategic decision-making through effective treasury operations and financial risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement treasury and financial risk policies, procedures, and controls
Apply financial risk assessment tools to identify, evaluate, and mitigate exposure
Review and recommend financial risk management strategies in line with governance requirements
Assess the business impact of financial risk strategies and escalate key concerns to senior management
Continuously improve financial risk tools, systems, and control frameworks
Provide technical guidance on financial risk matters relating to banking relationships, customers, and suppliers
Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
Interpret financial policies and procedures and provide clear guidance to internal teams
Support the administration, monitoring, and control of financial securities and related instruments
Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal controls
Investigate and resolve complex treasury or financial risk issues
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA
Minimum of 7 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or financial risk management
Strong knowledge of financial risk management principles and treasury operations
Good understanding of accounting systems and financial reporting processes
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
