Job Title: DCS Engineer – Substation Automation (Entry level) Location: Qatar Contract: Yearly Renewable
🔹 Key Responsibilities Execute engineering and field services for DCS/SCS, RTU, and SAS systems. Perform site surveys, design engineering, database configuration, panel integration, FAT support, testing & commissioning. Conduct signal, control, interlock, IEC 61850 IED, SCADA, and DCS functional testing. Design and configure substation LAN networks, industrial PCs, switches, firewalls, and satellite clocks. Configure IEDs (BCU, RTU, protection relays, AVR, tariff meters).
🔹 Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.1–2 years of experience in Substation Automation projects.(Entry level) Experience with GE DS Agile, PACiS, and GPG solutions. Strong knowledge of IEC 61850, MODBUS, IEC101/104, T103, SNTP, PRP/HSR/RSTP. Practical experience in DCS/SCS engineering, system architecture, DB configuration, FAT & commissioning.
