Fashion Designer for Abaya
Job Summary
We're seeking a talented fashion designer to join our team and create stunning, modern abayas that blend traditional styles with contemporary flair. If you're passionate about modest fashion and have a keen eye for design, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Design and develop abaya collections that cater to our brand's aesthetic and target audience- Create sketches, prototypes, and samples- Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments- Collaborate with production team to ensure timely delivery of designs- Stay updated on fashion trends and incorporate into designs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field- 2+ years of experience in fashion design, preferably in modest wear or abaya design- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)- Strong understanding of fabrics, textures, and embellishments- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pattern-making and garment construction- Knowledge of Middle Eastern fashion trends and styles- Fluency in Arabic (not required but a plus!)
