A leading global bank is seeking to appoint a Head of Human Resources for its Qatar operations. This is a critical and senior leadership hire The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the HR agenda during a period of increased regulatory focus, working closely with senior management and regulatory stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Qatari National (mandatory) Extensive experience within Banking or Financial Services Proven track record operating in highly regulated environments Strong knowledge of HR governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks Experience partnering with executive leadership and managing complex stakeholder environments

Role Overview

Lead the end-to-end HR function for the bank in Qatar Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on people, governance, and regulatory matters Ensure HR policies, controls, and processes meet local and global regulatory standards Provide leadership, stability, and direction to the HR team Support the bank through regulatory pressures and organisational change
