About the role
An exciting opportunity for Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Level I to work under Technical Workshops.
Responsible for aircraft/component maintenance to maintain its airworthiness and operational requirements within his authority as Licensed Aircraft Engineer. To direct/guide team of lead mechanics, mechanics by providing Specialised technical knowledge.
Operational Accountabilities;
Exercising license/approval privileges in relation to accomplishment of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and rectification to support aircraft operation.
Responsible for supervising and executing team comprising of licensed technicians, lead mechanics and mechanics to optimize resource utilization.
Primarily responsible for assisting Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor-Workshops or Licensed Aircraft Engineer-Workshops (Level Il) in executing specific assigned responsibilities in terms of supervising aircraft zone wise assignments or shop area specific/shift wise assignment to enable workshops meeting operational requirements.
Ensure maintenance is accomplished to required standards as prescribed by Aircraft/Component manufacturer to maintain airworthiness.
Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented, recorded and completed as per applicable Technical Publication Manual and regulation to maintain aircraft and component airworthiness.
Ensure that all tools and equipment used are properly calibrated and serviceable before and after use.
Ensure Staff under their control adhere to Health and Safety requirement to promote healthy safety culture.
Implement solution to technical problems with their expertise and skill to minimize operational impact.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
Qualification and experience:
High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
Valid License / approval with related experience.
Aircraft structural experience with experience on wide body aircraft applicable for Structures and Composite Workshop.
