About the role
Responsible for the Group’s Talent Development strategy, philosophy, vision, mission and providing oversight on both technical managerial and employee development. Ensure proper training analysis, program design and development and ensure effective implementation. Lead and manage the Group’s Talent Development department and ensure it remains capable of delivering effective and realistic support to meet the Group’s needs throughout the network.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop Talent Development strategy to enable continuous improvement in order to build functional, business and people performance.
  • Lead and direct the creation of a leadership development strategy and programs that align with the strategic business imperatives by identifying, designing and development of frameworks, to develop management capabilities throughout the workforce that is critical to both long- and short-term success. 
  • Develop and maintain an emphasis on internal learning with strategic use of external partners where appropriate. 
  • Create specific programs and initiatives to support aspiring leaders to develop the knowledge and skills required to step up to managerial and leadership roles.
  • Responsible for setting direction on all regulatory, compliance and employee development training ensuring the most cost effective and efficient channels are utilized to achieve the business objectives.
  • Accountable for the development and maintenance of the learning platforms and technology strategy, in order to enhances the Group’s learning culture.
  • Responsible for the group's approach to blended learning, ensuring that the technology and curriculums are well structured to achieve these aims through the Learning Management System (LMS) as well as other learning methodologies.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance and delivery of a Talent Development Management System (TDMS) to monitor and report on Talent Development’s day to day operation.
  • Keep abreast of regional and international learning and development trends in order to identify those that can be recommended for implementation within the Group.
  • Provide a forum for Training Managers across the Group to discuss standards, innovation, digitization, collaboration and the sharing of best practice.
  • Provide oversight on the design, development and implementation of all learning solutions ensuring that it aligns with both Talent Development and Company/Business strategy.
  • Work with the business to measure and report agreed evaluation and validation metrics on business impact.
  • Use project management disciplines to monitor and communicate progress on new developments ensuring key stakeholders and sponsors are kept informed and updated.
  • Serve as a consulting resource to the C-Suite and Senior Management across the organization on all matters related to Talent Development and how it will align with their overall business objectives.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications








About You


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 10 years of job-related experience
  • Experience in human resources, business, education, leadership, communications or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly influential, engaging and persuasive in communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, needs analysis, modern learning formats, learning design and evaluation methodology.
  • Strong leader who is effectively able to lead a team and motivate others.
  • Progressive experience managing diverse teams in a global business.
  • Proven track record of developing successful talent development programs in a diverse environment.
